Title: President
Duration: 1 year
- Preside over Board and General Meetings held monthly. (Following Roberts Rules)
- Send Agenda out to all club members more than 24 hours prior to meeting so that any club member can add items to the Agenda under New Business.
- Attend every event sponsored by the Club or make sure you have appointed another member to attend.
- Preside over any Bench Hearing at any event.
- Be aware of Constitution and Bylaws and the Policies and Procedures of the Club and help the Club abide by them.
Title: Vice -President
Duration: 1 year
- Preside over Board and General Meetings held monthly if President is unable to attend. (Following Roberts Rules)
- Send Agenda out to all club members more than 24 hours prior to meeting so that any club member can add items to the Agenda under New Business, if President is unable to attend.
- Preside over any Bench Hearing at any event, if President is not available.
- Be aware of Constitution and Bylaws and the Policies and Procedures of the Club, and help the Club abide by them.
Title: Secretary
Duration: 1 year
- Attend Monthly meeting and takes the Minutes of both the General and Board Meeting. If not able to attend Monthly meeting have another officer as backup for the meeting.
- Send Minutes out to the attendees of the Meeting for corrections and then out to the general Membership once corrections have been made.
- Get approved Minutes to the Website Host to post to the Website or if you have the ability to post them yourself post them.

Title: Treasurer
Duration: 1 year
- Maintain the Club’s books, including but not limited to: Write Checks, Make Deposits, Reconcile Bank Statement (Monthly).
- Present to the Board the following reports: Bank Deposit Detail Report, Check Detail Report and Balance Sheet Standard. Make only a couple of copies and ensure you get them back after sharing with the Board. At the General Meeting if any member would like to see the Treasurer’s Reports, Treasurer will allow them to review.
- Prepare list at year end (12/31/YY) for the accountant of any party who needs to be 1099.
- Send all reports required by our Tax Accountant by their deadline, if the Treasurer will be turning over the books to a new Treasurer (at the end of their term), reports will be sent prior to turning over the books.
- Have books reviewed on a yearly basis by an accountant. (Not the Club’s Tax Accountant)

Title: Directors
Duration: 1 year
- Directors are members in good standing. The general management of the club’s affairs shall be entrusted to the Board of Directors.
Title: Non-Officer Positions (Breeder Referral List, Public Education Coordinator)
Duration: 1 year
The Public Relations Director shall be chairman of the public relations committee. It shall be the duty of this committee:
To collect, print, and disseminate Club news to the members, including notices of meetings, minutes, training class regulations, etc.
To inform the non-member public of the activities of the Club and its training classes, and participation in American Kennel Club Dog Shows.
To encourage public participation in the objectives of the Club and promote public understanding and good will.
The Membership Director shall be chairman of the membership committee. It shall be the duties of this committee:
To receive and examine applications for membership and report thereon to the club.
To encourage the stability of the present memberships in view of making a better club.
To investigate the turnover and lapsed memberships in view of making a better club.
To keep a current roster of members, their dogs, and other pertinent information as directed by the Board.
To send written notice to members when Club dues must be paid.
The Program Director shall be chairman of the program committee. It shall be the duties of this committee to arrange for programs for the regular Club meetings, and other special events.
The Show Director shall be chairman of the committees whose duties are to produce our annual or bi-annual AKC All Breed Dog Show and Obedience Trial.
The Training Director shall be chairman of the training committee. It shall be the duty of this committee:
To set up the training class method and procedure; to make regulations concerning student handlers, dogs, admittance, etc.; to train the classes and the instructors.
To investigate and make arrangements for the physical equipment and facilities necessary for the training classes, such as location, cleanup facilities, mats, etc.; to store club property used in the training classes.
To enroll student handlers at the beginning of each new class sequence, to check attendance at each class session, and to keep records of the class. All enrollments and other records shall be kept in a permanent file.
The committee as a whole shall make arrangements for the graduation exercises for each training class.
